A Crop Top for Sublimation That’s Both Affordable and High-Quality

It’s surprisingly tricky to nab stylish T-shirt blanks for sublimation. Over the years, I’ve purchased numerous options for their high polyester count, putting style on the back burner, and ultimately pitching my projects. (ICYMI: a shirt must be at least 65 percent polyester in order to properly sublimate; the higher the polyester percentage, the better your sublimation results).
At long last, I’m overjoyed to share that I’ve finally discovered a truly stylish, sublimation-friendly crop top on Amazon — for less than $20: the MAX ALLIE Cropped Crew Neck T Shirt.
This plain white T is an absolute gem in all respects…so much so, I’m hesitant to even share for fear that it’ll sell out! (I’ve already purchased five, though, so I’m fully stocked up for now…)
This shirt allows you to create vivid sublimation projects without sacrificing style, comfort, or quality. It’s made from 95% polyester (5% Spandex). The high percentage sublimates like a dream. Plus, unlike many polyester shirts, which tend to feel weird and sporty, this one feels like actual butter. (One Amazon shopper shares my enthusiasm, calling the shirt: ”…probably the softest shirt I’ve ever bought.”) It’s available in sizes S-XL, the shirt fits true to size — and, honestly, is among the most flattering T-shirts I own — period.
Once I’d sublimated the shirt, washed it, and yelped with excitement upon seeing its success, I ordered four more. Currently, it’s $16; and the best $16 I’ve spent on craft supplies in a while. I wear this shirt constantly, with everything from with high-waisted leggings to a classic pair of Levi’s 501s.
