The Best Craft Room Storage Furniture For Small Spaces

After two years arranging and rearranging my craft room (which triples as my bae’s home office and a guest room — and, if you count the karaoke “room” I set up on the weekends, quadruples as a singing suite) I’ve finally established some semblance of cohesiveness. By no means is my art area neat in every corner — crafting is inherently messy, after all — but these craft room storage furniture units prove that form and function can, in fact, coexist.

Below, the best craft room storage furniture for small spaces of 2023.

With five drawers and a convenient set of four smooth-rolling caster wheels, this has been one of my absolute favorite craft supply organizers. It’s a lovely neutral white color that goes with literally any decor style, but if you’re more of a colorful crafter, rest assured: the wood can easily hold paint of your choice (I’ve painted this thing hot pink with stunning results).

The vertical storage space makes this a plus for small-space dwelling, as it has a relatively small footprint for what it’s actually able to hold. The caster wheels are optional: add ‘em for an easy-glide unit, or leave ‘em out for a shorter, stagnant unit.
The interior drawers are roomy, albeit a tad too small for holding 12 x 12 scrapbook paper. Otherwise, though, this little trolley won’t let you down. It’s relatively simple to assemble, too (I did it myself, and I’m terrible with tools). Bonus: the top surface is large enough to hold many craft accouterments, including a Cricut Autopress, a Cricut Mug Press, or most standard-sized printers.

This storage cart is practically made with Cricut machines in mind: It fits all Cricuts on both the top and bottom shelf, making it ideal for multi-Cricut households. (Sewing machines, mug presses, and printers also work wonderfully!)
I’m absolutely enamored with the flip-out work table on the side. It’s perfect for making paper messes while you’re working with your Cricut, and can easily tucked away when you’re done crafting.
The cart is a breeze to roll around the room, thanks to its smooth caster wheels. Feel free to tuck the cart away wherever you have room to physically place it, and roll it out to your craft room, closet, or corner as needed.

In addition to the Cricut-friendly shelving, this unit features six ultra-useful drawers. Made from durable plastic, they’re a breeze to wipe down (perfect for storing messier items, like paint and resin). Moreover, the four drawers on the left side are perfectly sized for 12x12 scrapbook paper, which is more than I can say for most craft storage units I’ve found.

Shallow drawers (left four): 14 x 15 x 3
Deep drawers (right two): 11 x 15 x 5

There’s a reason — nay, many reasons — why this craft cart has a five-star overall rating on Amazon, with rave reviews to boot. It’s loaded with storage despite its city-friendly footprint.

With three shelves that are large enough to fit the likes of a mug press, plus three metal hanging pockets for paintbrushes, pens, glue sticks and more, it’s perfect for virtually any crafter’s needs.
You’ll also find four convenient metal hooks attached to the cart, which prove handy for many supplies (including Cricut mats!). The caster wheels make this a breeze to transport around any room.
Lastly, this cart comes in blush. Enough said, as far as I’m concerned.

This sturdy printer stand currently holds my Minc foiling machine, a laser jet printer, and a converted sublimation printer. It was incredibly easy to put together (I’m terrible with tools and managed to do it myself within an hour or so) and it’s a stellar way to make use of vertical space in any room.

The stand comes with optional caster wheels; alternatively, you can set it up in a stationary manner, as pictured. It’s incredibly durable either way, and a visually unobtrusive option for a printer stand.

This rotating craft unit makes use of vertical space, hence why it’s perfect for super-small spaces. The floor footprint is extremely small, though the storage capacity is massive, thanks to three deep shelves, two large drawers, and a handy bulletin board (perfect for pinning your creations, ideas, and notes!).

I’d imagine this unit would be super fun to spin around; plus, it’s the perfect solution to hiding craft messes when guests come over; simply swivel it around to the cork board side.
